Kenya and Russia Claim top Marks at Country Music MarathonKenya’s Sylvester Chebii, 26, won the ninth annual Country Music Marathon today in a time of 2 hours, 14 minutes, 27 seconds. In the women’s race, Svetlana Ponomarenko, 38, from Russia outkicked defending champion Olena Shurkhno, 30, from the Ukraine, finishing in 2:30:33.

the 2008 Foot Locker County ChallengeNashville, TN - Bethany Crain, of Sumner County, won the 2008 Foot Locker County Challenge. Crain ran the 26.2 mile course in 3:57:17, and charged through the finish line almost five minutes ahead of the competition.
